Hi, I'm Neil, and I've been drawing as long as I can remember!

A love of doodling evolved into creating finely detailed studies of a multitude of subjects, including churches, historic buildings, animals, children, almost anything (even a compost heap!) Along with private commissions, I have illustrated short stories in The Dalesman and Yorkshire Journal, and also books.

A love of craft beer saw me win a competition to design a can label for Northern Monk brewery in Leeds. This drew me back to a more quirky, surreal, doodle style of art. I mostly work in ink (nylon and biro) and pencil, but have more recently started incorporating colour, and also ventured into acrylic on canvas and other mediums.

In my spare time, I am passionate about rock music and gigs, aurora hunting, enjoy walking, and sharing a beer with my two boys.
