Cora is the headpiece and jewellery designer-maker behind the Sheffield based brand Takara. Through Tsumami-Zaiku, a traditional Japanese craft, Cora works predominantly with silk to create unique, elaborate, and modern pieces. Every step of the process is done by hand with simple tools such as tweeters and pliers. She believes that handcrafting can create the most intricate details, and that it can develop meaningful connections between artisans and their patrons.
