The pendant began as a ceramic core, meticulously coated in five layers of recycled silver clay by hand using a paint brush and the brush strokes can still be seen. Esther then hand-built the mountain scenery layer by layer, using thin sheets of thin, textured silver clay to create the depth and shadow of a moonlit mountain range.
