PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This original painting by Bryony using watercolour and mixed media on 300gsm paper. Inspired by beautiful jewel anemones, common to British seas they grow on rocks, mostly below the sea surface. They're so beautiful they wouldn't be out of place on a tropical reef. Coming in a variety of bright colours they are so-named because the tips of their 100s of tentacles look like tiny jewels. Bryony used pearlescent medium on the painting - so when it catches the light this makes the tips of the anemones sparkle. 

The unframed image measures 28.7 x 41 cm. It is framed under glass in a solid wooden frame (painted white), with a white textured mount. The framed size measures 63 cm x 53 cm, by 4 cm depth. The painting is framed with an archival quality (acid-free) backing board (protecting the painting from chemical changes that can affect the colours over time). The painting is sealed at the back, and is wired and ready to hang.
