LOVE graffiti - card

A very urban approach to sending your love in a greetings card - this photograph was taken in Manchester city centre.

The doorway is a hotel emergency exit route onto the street, and is where guests gather to smoke; the word "LOVE" has been written using the dirty end of a cigarette butt.

I originally saw this sweet yet gritty image on a dull day, so snapped a quick picture on my phone to remind me to go back on a sunny day. The lines of the fire escape look fabulous with a bit of shadow, I think!
