Caroline’s work is inspired by a love of art dolls, vintage toys and the nostalgic comfort of childhood treasures. She first began making tiny teddy bears for doll collectors, selling small handmade creations online before her work naturally evolved into the nostalgic ornaments and miniature characters now loved at Art & Soul. Each piece is intentionally individual and perfectly imperfect — playful little keepsakes designed to spark joy and reconnect us with the childlike wonder we never truly outgrow. Handsewn using her own original pattern designs, Caroline creates wherever inspiration strikes, with all of her materials fitting neatly inside a biscuit tin she can take anywhere. Founded in 2016, All Mapped Out is a family-run design studio based in Leeds, created by husband-and-wife team Phil and Claire Deighton. Copper Moon is the creative collaboration of sisters Jane and Lucy, based on the East Yorkshire coast. She channelled her professional expertise and heartfelt desire for slower, more mindful living into creating her own line of products — ones that could foster wellbeing through scent, texture, and quiet ritual. From building her own website and online store to carefully choosing sustainable materials and scent blends, Charlotte has built Edge of the Wolds from the ground up with care and intention. Jess Withington Jewellery is the creative world of designer–maker Jess, inspired by the beauty and rhythm of the natural world. From her garden studio on a nature reserve beside the River Humber, she handcrafts jewellery that captures the textures, colours, and quiet details found outdoors — from riverbank wildflowers to the shimmer of sunlight on water. After graduating with a First Class degree in Jewellery Design from the University of Lincoln, Jess spent several years in the jewellery industry before launching her own brand full-time in 2022. Working in silver and gold with semi-precious stones and enamel, she brings playful touches of colour to her organic designs. Each piece is made with care and intention, reflecting Jess’s love of nature, animals, and the landscape that surrounds her — jewellery created to be worn and cherished, carrying a sense of stillness and story.

Holly Greenwood began her creative journey in 2019, when a passion project blossomed into a thriving full-time business. Six years on, she continues to pour her love of florals and nature into a joyful range of cards, prints, stationery, and textiles. Each design begins as a hand-painted artwork, later refined into bold, colourful pieces that celebrate the beauty of the natural world. One of Holly’s favourite projects is designing Christmas cards — she loves the ritual of getting cosy in her studio, festive music playing, as she paints cheerful winter scenes. When she’s not creating, Holly can be found exploring the outdoors with her rescue greyhound, Paddy, always finding new inspiration in the changing seasons.

Mervyn is a Yorkshire based artist who uses his canvas to share the free-spirited, joyful side of life. His whimsical and quirky paintings of sheep, each tell a stand-alone story inspired by clever wordplay. Mervyn’s ideas are mostly influenced by pop culture with echoes of his cheeky persona. Rather than taking a serious approach to art, Mervyn prefers to make humour the focus and delivers that through comical interpretations of sheep in the funniest of situations. When not painting sheep, Mervyn also enjoys creating large vibrant abstracts and figurative paintings that often explore the naivety in human interactions and expressions which are equally as engaging as his flock of sheep.

Holly is the artist behind Preprints, which she has proudly been growing since 2020. After recently leaving her teaching career to pursue art full-time, she has fully embraced creating work that reflects the things she love most: colour, connection, travel, food, and the beauty found in everyday life. Holly’s artwork is inspired by overlooked moments of joy, long summer days, cosy nights in, meals shared with friends, favourite places discovered while travelling, and the simple details that often become the most meaningful memories. Holly’s style combines bold palettes designed to spark happiness and make spaces feel more vibrant and personal. She wants her art to feel joyful, lived-in, and something that instantly brightens a room and connects with the people who see it. Words by Catherine Prutton is a poetry-led brand created by poet and designer Catherine Prutton. It began with every poem written and produced as a handwritten print, each one made slowly and individually. Over time, this evolved into digitally handwritten pieces, allowing the work to reach more people while keeping the intimacy and warmth of Catherine’s original handwriting. Her work spans both longer-form poems and prints made from just a few carefully chosen words, all rooted in emotional honesty and quiet reflection. Working from the UK, Catherine creates pieces that explore love, reassurance, and the small moments that make us feel understood. Through poems and prints, she offers gentle pauses — words to return to, sit with, and keep close.

Sarah King is a ceramic artist inspired by the natural world, using clay to create both sculptural and functional pieces. Gee is the creator behind GeeBeeJotters, a stationery and gifting brand inspired by everyday life. A lifelong stationery lover and Fine Art graduate, she creates colourful, thoughtful products designed to bring comfort, encouragement and a little joy to daily routines. The business began following a cancer diagnosis and major surgery at the age of 33. During recovery, Gee found comfort in small routines, reflections and creative projects, creating a simple daily reflections pad that would eventually become the foundation of GeeBeeJotters. What started as a personal source of support grew into a brand built around the belief that small acts of creativity, kindness and self-care can make even the hardest days feel a little lighter. Alongside a full-time job, Gee continues to create stationery and gifts that encourage people to slow down, embrace the little joys and find comfort in everyday moments. Through every design, she hopes to bring a little positivity, encouragement and colour into people's lives.

Rebecca is the owner and maker behind Woodsmiths Family Business, creating unique engraved wooden gifts from her Yorkshire workshop. She started the business after the birth of her son, wanting to create thoughtful gifts for family members who always seemed impossible to buy for. Along the way, she discovered a love for wood engraving and, when her daughter arrived two years later, took the leap to run the business full-time. Rebecca prides herself on designing gifts that are both personal and practical, often with a touch of humour and a nod to her Yorkshire roots. Inspired by everyday life, new ideas can strike at any moment, often while she's chasing after her children around a soft play centre. Each piece is thoughtfully created to celebrate special people, meaningful moments and the joy of giving something truly unique.

Sam Jones is an artist and maker with a passion for creating whimsical ceramics and colourful jewellery. After studying 3D Design Crafts at York College and Metalwork and Jewellery at Sheffield Hallam University, she has built a creative career rooted in craftsmanship and imagination. Working mainly with stoneware clay, Sam hand-builds each ceramic sculpture, allowing every piece to develop its own unique personality. She enjoys experimenting with slips, underglazes and oxides, creating playful designs full of character. Alongside her ceramics, Sam creates vibrant jewellery using handmade lampwork glass beads, resin, Sterling Silver, Swarovski crystals and semi-precious stones. Whether sculpting, making jewellery or working as a scenic artist, her work celebrates creativity, colour and the joy of handmade design.

Lindsay Atkinson is the artist and nature lover behind Littlebirdy Designs.  Bringing a touch of nature’s magic into your home through charming British wildlife–themed art and gifts featuring her carefully observed, delicate watercolour illustrations. Every product begins life as a hand-painted piece, inspired by wildlife spotted on nature walks in Yorkshire or along the Northumberland coast. After being made redundant, Lindsay took the opportunity to grow Littlebirdy Designs from a side hustle into a full-time business, investing in a kiln and a garden studio to shape it into what it is today. Her illustrations are scanned and thoughtfully arranged to create greetings cards, prints, and stationery, or transformed into ceramic transfers, hand-cut and carefully applied to fine bone china tableware. Through nature journalling and gardening, Lindsay embraces living in harmony with the seasons. Her mission is to capture the quiet wonder of the natural world and bring it into people’s homes through small but meaningful everyday moments.
