'Corn Poppy' - Hand Finished Print

ABOUT THE PRINT

 

This is a mounted (unframed), hand finished print of an original mixed media painting titled 'Corn Poppy' by Jo Lewis.

I love how vibrant poppies are and yet they're so delicate at the same time. I also love the seed heads after flowering.  

 

For the original painting I used professional quality Watercolour and Posca Pen, including some gold iridescent paint. In order to get a similar effect on the prints, I have therefore hand finished each one with gold Posca Pen, making each individual print unique in its own right. Please therefore note that, each item is unique and may differ slightly from the product image.

Please note that the golden shimmer is very difficult to capture in a photograph. My original pieces and hand finished prints are therefore best viewed in person, to fully appreciate these special little details.

 

* SIZE:  The overall size of the mounted print is 30cm x 30cm. The actual printed area measures 17.78cm x 17.78cm. 

 

* WHAT'S INCLUDED:  Each hand finished print is mounted (but not framed) and sealed inside a protective sleeve.

 

* ABOUT THE PAPER:  The paper is a GF Smith 300gsm Zen White paper.

* ABOUT THE PRINTING:  The prints are digitally laser printed.

 

* CARE INSTRUCTIONS:  To help preserve the longevity of the prints, they should be hung/displayed away from natural light.
