'Harvest Mouse with his Bounty of Blackberries' - Framed Original Mixed Media Painting

ABOUT THE PAINTING

This framed original, mixed media painting is titled 'Harvest Mouse with his Bounty of Blackberries'.

The Harvest Mouse is Britain's smallest rodent and the only British mammal with a prehensile tail. Many thanks to photographer, Glen Hooper (via Unsplash), for the copyright free photograph, which I used as reference.

In this work I have used professional quality Watercolour, Pastel Pencil and Coloured Pencil.

* SIZE:  The overall size of the framed painting is 32cm x 32cm x 1cm. The actual painted area measures 17.78cm x 17.78cm.

* WHAT'S INCLUDED:  The artwork is one of a kind, framed, signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

* ABOUT THE PAPER:  I have used Stonehenge Aqua Watercolour Paper (300gsm/140lb, cold pressed (NOT)). This is a 100% cotton watercolour paper, is vegan, acid-free and made in the Netherlands.

* ABOUT THE FRAME:  This painting has been professionally framed by The Weaverbird Workshop in Ilkley. The frame is made of a beautiful, open-grained, stained wood and has a green/brown hue, which tones very well with the painting. It is framed under glass, with an ivory textured mount. The painting is sealed at the back with framing tape to help protect it from dust and moisture etc and it is ready to hang.

* CARE INSTRUCTIONS:  As this painting has areas of watercolour, it should ideally be hung away from direct natural light.
