HYPNOS GREEK MYTHOLOGY LINO PRINT

Original lino print featuring Hypnos, the Greek God of sleep. Hypnos is a calm and gentle God residing in a cave shrouded with poppies and sleep inducing plants. He is the twin brother of Thanatos and the son of Nyx. This piece is part of a series based on the phases of the moon and the Greek Gods of Night.

This design is printed onto handmade Himalayan Lokta paper, which has a lovely natural tone and beautiful texture. I use Cranfield colours ink in all my work which provides oil based, light fast colour. Would be a great gift for anyone interested in mythology or the phases of the moon.

Every print is individual and handprinted so you will receive a unique piece of artwork. Please note, due to the deckled edges of this paper the size may vary a few mm.
