LEARNING TO FLY ART NOUVEAU LINO PRINT

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

1 x Art Nouveau style lino print. This print is named 'Learning to fly,' the title will be written on the print when you receive it. The size that listed for this print is as close as possible but they do vary by a few mm either way because of the nature of the deckled edges, so you may want to wait until it arrives to choose a frame.

The print was inspired by the Pink Floyd song, Learning to fly, and has a vintage distressed look. Each piece is hand printed so each is unique. You are truly receiving a one off piece of art. The colours I used in this piece are black and gold, and it is printed onto handmade Japanese washi paper.

I printed and designed this lino cut myself and the ink I used is Cranfield colours, which is lightfast and will provide longevity for your print. I would still recommend hanging it out of direct sunlight like any artwork. This paper is slightly translucent but the way the fibres are layered means that it's also very durable. It has an aetherial airy feel to it and the print really lends itsself to being hung in a floating frame.

Size: 21 x 29cm.
