Moonlit Mountains Pendant - Chunky Silver Statement Necklace for Nature Lovers

Inspired by the rugged beauty of the great outdoors, this chunky silver teardrop pendant is a true feat of artisan craftsmanship. It is designed for those who find joy in the mountains and prefer a contemporary, relaxed look. Suspended from a sustainable organic black cotton cord with elegant sterling silver end caps, it offers a bold yet minimalist aesthetic,  perfect for everyday wear.  

Creating this piece took an entire week to construct. The pendant began as a ceramic core, meticulously coated in five layers of recycled silver clay by hand using a paint brush and the brush strokes can still be seen. Esther then hand-built the mountain scenery layer by layer, using thin sheets of thin, textured silver clay to create the depth and shadow of a moonlit mountain range. After kiln-firing to transform the clay into solid silver, the piece was hand-polished by Esther to a high shine to catch the light like moonlight on snow.
