Red Bumblebee - Original Watercolour Painting

Using purples and greens, this painting captures a busy red bumblebee collecting nectar from a creeping thistle on Beverley Westwood, in the East Riding. Common in the UK nesting in our gardens and woodlands, you can tell he's a male from his yellow stripes.

The unframed image measures 17 cm x 17 cm, and is framed under glass in a white acrylic frame with a white textured mount. The framed size measures 25.5 cm x 25.5 cm, by 2.5 cm depth. The painting is sealed at the back with framing tape for protection from dust, it is ready to hang and has a back-stand so it can be free-standing if you prefer.
