Handmade Silver Fossil Earrings - Mini Ammonite Studs
Discover these perfect miniature casts of tiny prehistoric ammonite fossils. They make a unique, meaningful gift for any fossil enthusiast, beach lover, or geologist.
Each delicate earring has been carefully created from a mould made using an actual fossil.  This ammonite was discovered on the Jurassic Coast by Esther as a child! Crafted from recycled fine silver, these unique fossil studs capture every incredible detail in an every day wearable size - see photo of Esther on her pair!

The silver Esther Priestley uses is all 100% recycled silver, mainly in the form of silver clay as this allows textures and patterns to be pressed into the pieces before they are fired in a kiln. Then using traditional silver smithing techniques other parts are added. (Silver Clay has a high silver content, and can actually be hallmarked as 999 Fine Silver rather the slightly lower 925 content of Sterling Silver.)
