Small Fused Glass Curve With Flower Meadow Design (Blue & Green)

A great addition to any room of the house, this small and colourful fused glass flower meadow curve has an array of blue and green colour. As a freestanding piece it would make a lovely gift for someone leaving, a birthday or anniversary or you could simply buy it because you love it. Made in Derbyshire it has been handcrafted by adding individual coloured and clear pieces of glass onto a larger clear background.

Fused flat to begin with it has then been back into the kiln, reheated and draped over a former. This glass has been tack fused meaning that it has been left with a wonderfully tactile texture which glistens in the light. Therefore, this piece of glass works best if it has a natural source of light behind it. Alternatively, tea light candles could be used (however I generally suggest battery lights for safety reasons).

The design on these curves represents a meadow of small flowers and would make a great gift for a nature lover.

Colours used are turquoise blue, Caribbean blue and spring green
