HELIOS GREEK MYTHOLOGY ORIGINAL LINO PRINT

Original lino print, based on the Greek God of the Sun, Helios. It is said that Helios could see all that was happening in heaven and on earth, and he rode a golden chariot across the sky.

The paper used in this print is handmade Nepalese dark Lokta and has a beautiful deep richness to it. A lovely gift for someone who is interested in the sun or Greek mythology.

All prints will be packaged plastic free. In my printmaking I use vegetable oil for cleanup instead of harmful chemicals and use Cranfield colours oil based inks which provide excellent light fastedness and bold, sharp colours.

Please note that each piece of art is handprinted from a carving so all will vary ever so slightly. The paper size is as accurate as possible but this may be a few mm either way due to the nature of the deckled edges of the paper.
