Hand Turned Coloured Hollow Form made from Sycamore Wood

This Hand Turned Coloured Hollow Form is made from Sycamore Wood. The wood has been turned and hollowed out to leave a wall thickness of approximately 10 mm, it has then been coloured to highlight the grain patterns in the wood.  The piece has then been finished with a gloss lacquer that has been polished to a mirror finish resulting in this stunning coloured piece.  The top of the hollow form is coloured with a satin black finish. It is 170 mm tall and 100 mm in diameter.
