Hand Turned Hollow Form made from Cypress and Laburnum Wood

This Hand Turned Hollow Form is made from Cypress wood with a Laburnum wood top. The wood has been turned and hollowed out to leave a wall thickness of approximately 10 mm. The piece has an oil finish which brings out the stunning grain patterns in the wood. The top of the hollow form has been finished in a high gloss lacquer that has been polished to a mirror like finish to highlight the stunning grain patterns. It is 205 mm tall and 105 mm in diameter.
