Hand Turned Elm Burr Wood Art

This striking piece of wood art is made from locally sourced elm burr. Despite its appearance, it does not hold a wine bottle, the hole is formed from the center of the log on which the burr formed. This piece of art clearly shows the grain of the regular elm and the swirls and character of the burr. It is a totally unique blend of art and woodwork.
