This handmade pendant is a one-off creation and features a flat, open disc of smooth polished silver decorated with several small handmade silver shell embellishments.  Each shell has been made using moulds made of actual shells discovered on the Yorkshire Coast – an ideal pendant for those that love the seaside. 

• Complete with sterling silver chain and gift box, ready for gifting.

The silver Esther Priestley uses is all 100% recycled silver, mainly in the form of silver clay as this allows textures and patterns to be pressed into the pieces before they are fired in a kiln. Then using traditional silver smithing techniques other parts are added. (Silver Clay has a high silver content, and can actually be hallmarked as 999 Fine Silver rather the slightly lower 925 content of Sterling Silver.)
