Moon Map Hand Drawn Fine Art Print

This exceptionally detailed map of Earth’s Moon was drawn by hand and took seven months to complete. What an impressive addition this will make to your home or office.

Artist cartographer Kevin Sheehan was inspired by the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing to create this map of Earth’s Moon. Following a double-hemisphere style, the map shows the Near Side and Far Side, with all the landings, major craters, seas, and other important selenographic features.

Surrounding the map are numerous cartouches and diagrams showing and describing how eclipses work, lunar libration, lunation, the Moon’s orbit, how the Moon affects Earth’s tides, and much more including history, mythology, characteristics, and a list of flyby and orbital missions.

This map is a limited edition print out of a run of 200, printed on high-quality 250gsm paper. It is signed and numbered by the artist.

The Moon Map is sold with a mount (mat-board) in black, ivory, navy or slate, sized at 45cm x 65cm. It is also available framed with an ivory mount, black frame, and acrylic glass.

The map is also available printed as a tea towel, or a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle.
