This beautiful map of the Forecast was originally hand drawn and hand painted, and is here printed as a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle.
The map shows the BBC Radio 4 and Met Office Shipping Forecast regions including their coordinates, and also includes the coastal weather stations of the British Isles, the Inshore Waters, Beaufort Scale, and maritime signal flags. The map is decorated with a ship, a medieval style whale and wind-blowing head, a compass rose, and an old-fashioned radio. A cartouche gives a history of the forecast.
