PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Original watercolour painting by Bryony Caswell. Watercolour, ink, texture paste painting on 300gsm Canson watercolour paper. This is a highly textured piece, and is painted with iridescent paints meaning that the "trees" sparkle when they catch the light. Picture size is: 6 by 6 inches. Framed under glass in a black frame, with a cream-white textured mount. Framed size: length 22.5 cm, width 22.3 cm, depth 2.1 cm. Ready to hang, also has a back stand.

The painting was inspired by christmas tree worms (Spirobranchius giganteus) which occur on tropical coral reefs where they sieve food from the watercolumn using their fir-tree shaped crowns.
