Alistair and his wife Anne make decorative hand built ceramic pieces, mostly in stoneware, utilising the coiling and pinching methods of building. Shapes and colours are drawn from the natural world and glazes are handmade to create an organic look. Some pieces are raku fired, others smoke fired and each piece is unique and unrepeatable.
